Beth Tikvah is Egalitarian! Join us as Rabbi Robyn Fryer Bodzin becomes the first female Rabbi to lead Shabbat Services!

Rabbi Fryer Bodzin is the spiritual leader of Israel Center of Conservative Judaism in Queens, New York and grew up at Beth Tikvah Synagogue.

Friday Night, October 27 with services
beginning at 6:00 pm and Dinner at 7:00 pm

Rabbi Fryer Bodzin will lead Kabbalat Shabbat services. Following dinner, she will speak on “BT Girl to New York City Woman, to Conservative Rabbi & Israeli Political Activitist.” 

Dinner:
Member Adults – $36.00; 
Member Children (13 and under) – $18.00
Non-Member Adults – $45.00; 
Non-Member Children (13 and under) – $25.00

Register for the dinner by Monday, October 23 at noon by calling the Synagogue office or on the Synagogue website. Limited space available.

* Babysitting will be available during dinner on Friday, October 27.

Saturday Morning, October 28 with services beginning at 9:00 am

Rabbi Fryer Bodzin will lead services and will give the sermon on” Lekh Lekha - An Antidote to Loneliness.” An enhanced Kiddush is sponsored by The Fryer Family & Beth Tikvah Women. Following Kiddush, she will lead a discussion on “The Power of Personal Prayer,” followed by a Q&A.

Rabbi Fryer Bodzin’s visit is sponsored by a bequest made to Beth Tikvah Women by Miriam Freedmanz”l, by Beth Tikvah Women, and by the Beth Tikvah Women Endowment Fund.
