Bar and Bat Mitzvah
When a child comes of age it is a
simha for the immediate family, the synagogue family, and the entire Jewish community. As a child becomes
Bar/Bat Mitzvah, he/she takes on the responsibilities and privileges of becoming an
adult in the Jewish community, which requires a great deal of preparation and commitment.
Our shul is blessed with many B'nai Mitzvah each year. Dates are reserved
two years in advance, so
plan ahead and learn what is required.

BAR/BAT MITZVAH PROGRAM
BAR/BAT MITZVAH PROGRAM 2013 This program was launched to supplement regular lessons for 2013 Bnei Mitzvah, and to engage them in synagogue life and Jewish topics. It runs twice a month on Shabbat mornings
(Jan 12th & 26th, Feb 9th & 23rd, March 2nd & 23rd, and April 13th & 27th). No charge. The kids leave the Sanctuary from
10:45am - 11:45am with the Rabbis, Cantor, Irv Kirshenblat or Sigal Tuch, who have prepared a special program for each session. We all hope that this program will help better prepare our Bnei Mitzvah, and to make them feel part of our community. Contact rosalie@bethtikvahtoronto.org
